Our Mission

At Rural Christian, our mission is to spread hope and faith in rural communities. We believe in the power of the gospel of Christ, and that love and community can uplift individuals and families.

It is our desire to encourage Christians to be confident in their faith, excited by the gospel, and willing to share their faith with others.

Hi! I'm Barry Osborne.  

I have spent a lifetime in Christian ministry and mission mostly in the UK but also in other countries in Africa and Europe.  Although I have recently retired from full time ministry I still have a great deal of experoence and accumulated wisdom that I am willing to share.


Being a Christian in a small rural community is challenging, but it brings exciting possibilities.  I would like to help you unlock those possibilities.  This is exactly the context in which Jesus lived and began his ministry.  What does he want to do in your village today?
