We take seriously the welfare and safety of children and vulnerable adults.. As a Congregational Minister I hold a DBS certificate and seek to keep my training up to date. I have taught safeguarding and co-authored a book, published by CTBI, on supporting the victims of abuse. We will always follow best practice.
In the unlikely event of a complaint, please report this to the General Secretary of the Congregational Federation (see their website).
Rural Christian is not a registered charity and does not make appeals for finanicial support. Our online presence is funded entirely from the personal resources of Barry Osborne who is no longer in paid full time ministry. His ministry is provided without any charge.
Barry Osborne has a lifetime of experience working with a wide range of Christian traditions. For several years he was the national church representative for the Congregational Federation in both CTBI and CTE. When serving or partnering with any church it has always been our practice to respect the traditions and values of the churches we are working with.
Rural Christian does not publish a doctrinal statement and we neither commend or criticise any particular tradition.
